books for the library of the public school "escuela Cristóbal Colón"

The main village of Guanaja is located on a little cay, about a few hundred yards off the main island. The locals call this village "the cay", its official name is Bonacca. There are two schools on the cay: the public school "escuela de Cristóbal Colón" and the "Adventist School. The public school hosts about 170 students and offers classes from 1st to 6th grade. Many years ago the school set up a school library which in the meantime only hosts outdated and old books. This content does not attract any interest of the students any more. The guardian angels for Honduras Kids support this school to stock up with new books for kids and teens in english and spanish.

The room is alredy there and the lending system can easily be re-activated. The guardian angels buy new books, receive donated books, finance the shipment to Guanaja and make sure all books arrive at the school.
